Data controller
The data controller is Laurianne Labeyrie, the person currently responsible for Between Grounds. Data-protection requests can be made through the contact form by beginning the message with “Privacy request”. This information will be updated if Between Grounds adopts a separate legal form.
Information collected
The form requires an email address and a message; a name and organisation are optional. Technical security data, such as an IP address and timestamp, may be processed temporarily by the website or hosting provider to prevent abuse and maintain the service.
Please do not use the form to send confidential records, precise sensitive locations, medical information or sensitive personal data concerning yourself or another person.
Purpose
The information is used only to receive, assess and respond to your message, to protect the form from abuse and to keep an appropriate record of any resulting exchange. It is not used for advertising, behavioural profiling or a mailing list.
Legal basis
The processing is based on the legitimate interest in receiving, securing, assessing and answering enquiries addressed to Between Grounds and, where an exchange concerns a possible service or collaboration, on steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, subject to any overriding legitimate or legal reason for limited retention.
Recipients and systems
The information is accessed only by the person responsible for Between Grounds and, where technically necessary, by the providers involved in hosting or email delivery. The website is hosted in France by OVHcloud and messages are delivered to an inbox operated from Switzerland by Proton Mail. No public database of contact-form submissions is created.
Retention
An enquiry that does not lead to an active project or continuing discussion is deleted no later than six months after the last meaningful exchange. Correspondence connected to an active project, a contractual discussion or a legal obligation is kept only for as long as that purpose requires. Technical anti-abuse data is retained only for the short period necessary to operate the protection.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction where applicable, and you may object to certain uses. Requests are made through the contact form by beginning the message with “Privacy request”; your request should include enough information to identify the relevant exchange without sending unnecessary identity documents.
If you believe that your rights have not been respected after contacting the data controller, you may lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or third-party analytics. A strictly necessary session cookie may be used to secure the contact form, and essential technical logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security and operation. These functions do not require an advertising-cookie banner.
